NCCI Economics Unit
The core purpose of the NCCI Economics Unit is:
To position NCCI as a credible, Indigenous-led economic authority that shapes policy, procurement, and investment systems to deliver long-term, culturally grounded and commercially viable outcomes for Noongar and First Nations businesses.
The NCCI Economics Unit strengthens the Noongar Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s role as a leading Indigenous economic voice in Western Australia and nationally. Grounded in Noongar cultural governance and informed by lived business experience, the Unit supports stronger policy influence, procurement reform, and sustainable economic participation for First Nations businesses.
Delivered in partnership with First Nations Economics, the Economics Unit combines Indigenous-led economic expertise with rigorous analysis, research, and strategic advisory capability. Together, NCCI and First Nations Economics provide evidence-based insights, practical commercial advice, and co-designed solutions that respond to real business conditions and systemic challenges.
The Economics Unit works across government, industry, and investment sectors to shape inclusive procurement systems, inform economic policy, and support Indigenous businesses to access markets, capital, and long-term opportunities. Through research, advocacy, and strategic engagement, the Unit ensures Indigenous economic leadership is visible, credible, and influential.
This partnership positions NCCI as a trusted authority in Indigenous economics—driving outcomes that are culturally grounded, commercially sound, and focused on lasting impact.
